Cat
Somedays we wish our little ones could be more like dogs--obedient, predictable, etc. Most of the time though, they really do a pretty darn good cat imitation. They're independent (in their own minds, at least), headstrong, sly, and of course wonderfully snuggly when they want to be. It's no wonder so many kids love cats--even when that love is unrequited. Our cat is teal blue and meows on a field of subtle grape striping.
